Our client is seeking a skilled Distribution Engineer to join their team immediately. This role offers the opportunity to provide engineering and technical expertise in solving complex problems related to electric distribution utility design. The incumbent will play a crucial role in creating construction work packages to support electric distribution systems using various software and engineering standards.Duties & Responsibilities : Provide engineering and technical expertise in identifying, analyzing, and resolving problems related to electric distribution utility design.Effectively plan, organize, estimate, schedule, and monitor work activities.Produce thorough and accurate technical reports, correspondence, documentation, calculations, and drawings.Continuously improve job-related engineering, technical, and professional knowledge.Demonstrate effective oral and written communication skills.Maintain accurate record-keeping practices.Assist in power restoration efforts during natural disaster events as needed.Support the company's goals and represent the company in a positive and professional manner.Required : Bachelor’s degree in engineering.2 years of distribution engineering experience.Ability to perform electric distribution calculations, create drawings, and generate Bills of Materials for construction work packages.Experience with PoleForeman or similar software.Preferred : Engineer-in-Training (EIT) or Professional Engineer (PE) certification.Understanding of overhead to underground conversion design.Pay Range : $38 / hr. -$48 / hr.Shift and Hour : Monday- Friday8 AM- 5 PMType of Job : 6 Month Temp-to-PermIf you are interested in learning more about this opportunity, please contact Jaie Rogers at jrogers@selectek.com or call 678-802-6632.Â
