OSP Construction ManageJob Summary : We are seeking an experienced OSP (Outside Plant) Construction Manager to oversee the planning, coordination, and execution of fiber optic network construction projects. The OSP Construction Manager will be responsible for managing the construction of fiber optic cables, conduits, poles, splice cases, and other telecom-related infrastructure. This role requires ensuring projects are completed on time, within budget, and in compliance with quality and safety standards.Key Responsibilities : Manage the overall planning, execution, and completion of OSP fiber optic network construction projects.Develop and maintain relationships with cities, counties, HOAs, and local utilities.Lead and supervise the construction staff by setting clear expectations and ensuring accountability.Recruit, hire, and train construction inspectors and coordinators.Coordinate with internal and external stakeholders to define project scope, schedules, budgets, and specifications.Monitor and control project progress, quality, and costs; take corrective actions as needed.Ensure all construction activities comply with company policies, customer requirements, and local, state, and federal regulations.Supervise and mentor OSP construction staff and contractors, providing technical guidance and support.Conduct site visits, inspections, audits, and tests to verify work quality and safety compliance.Handle employee relations, including performance management, coaching, and training.Approve timecards and manage the payroll process.Prepare and maintain accurate project documentation, reports, records, and invoices.Troubleshoot and resolve issues or conflicts during the project lifecycle.Evaluate and implement new technologies, methods, and best practices to improve OSP construction efficiency.Required Qualifications : Minimum of 5 years of experience as an OSP Project Manager in fiber optic construction.Strong knowledge of fiber optic network testing equipment and procedures.Familiarity with OSP construction standards, codes, regulations, and safety practices.Excellent communication, organizational, and leadership skills.Reliable transportation and willingness to travel to project sites.Pay Range : Pay : $50.00 - $56.00 per hourShift and Hours : Monday- Friday8 AM- 5 PMPreferred Qualifications : Experience managing multiple OSP fiber construction projects simultaneously.Prior experience in telecom infrastructure construction and network deployment.Why Join Us?Competitive hourly pay rate with the opportunity for contract extension.Work in a dynamic environment on cutting-edge fiber optic network projects.Opportunity to lead and develop a high-performing team.
