PLC Programmer - Santa Clara, CAPosition OverviewA leading engineering and system integration firm in Santa Clara, CA, is seeking an experienced PLC Programmer to join our team. This is a direct-hire, permanent position offering a competitive, negotiable base salary (commensurate with experience) and the chance to contribute to mission-critical automation systems for the semiconductor and biotech industries.What We Offer : Local travel only : Be home every night!Flexible, laid-back environment : Casual attire and a team-oriented culture.Exciting projects : Work with cutting-edge systems in high-tech industries.Key ResponsibilitiesDesign, program, and integrate gas detection and chemical dispense control systems.Develop, test, and troubleshoot PLC programs across multiple platforms.Configure and start up industrial automation hardware, including VFDs and communication networks.Read and modify electrical schematics and create flow diagrams for program design.Adapt existing programs to meet specific customer needs.Provide technical support to Field Service Engineers during installation and maintenance.Monitor and resolve system performance issues efficiently.Requirements~ 5 years of PLC programming experience.Proficiency with various automation platforms, such as Allen Bradley, Modicon, Ignition, SCADA, and WonderWare.Strong understanding of electrical control schematics and safety protocols.Ability to debug and troubleshoot complex systems independently.Excellent communication and collaboration skills.Preferred QualificationsFamiliarity with manufacturing processes or experience in building systems integration / fire alarm systems.Work DetailsLocation : Santa Clara, CA.Schedule : Monday–Friday, normal business hours with flexibility.Remote Work : Hybrid option available after onboarding (1–2 days per week).Travel : Minimal, local to Silicon Valley.About UsWe specialize in life safety and mission-critical automation systems, supporting some of the world’s most innovative industries.
