We are looking for a Purchasing Manager (Manufacturing) to start working with a client of ours in Canton, GA as soon as possible. This candidate will oversee the procurement of raw materials, components, outside services, and supplies necessary for production.Applicants must be authorized to work for ANY employer in the U.S. We are unable to sponsor or take over sponsorship of an employment Visa at this time.RequirementsBachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, Engineering, or a related field is strongly preferred10 or more years of experience in procurement or purchasing management, ideally in manufacturing environmentsStrong negotiation and communication skillsExcellent analytical and problem-solving abilitiesProficiency in procurement software and Microsoft Office SuiteSolid understanding of manufacturing processes and supply chain managementAbility to manage multiple priorities and thrive in a fast-paced environmentExperience with Epicor is a plus; familiarity with any ERP or MRP system is acceptableMust reside and be eligible to work in the United StatesPay Rate : $38 / hr - $44 / hrTerm : 6 months contract (could possibly go direct)Location : Canton, GA 30115If you are interested and would like to hear more about this position, please contact Jacob Perry at (470) 203-9211 or jperry@selectek.com
