A Well established, 100% Doug Fir Lumber Mill, conveniently located in the heart of town, is seeking a Green Chain Puller - (5) 10's Means Automatic WEEKLY OT, Guaranteed!

Duties and Responsibilities for Green Chain Puller :

Pull Lumber off conveyor belt

Sort Lumber and / or Clear Chain

Ensure that all lumber is pulled into it's designated load according to :

Size

Length

Lumber Grade

Stack all units to correct height and width

Make sure that Stickers are properly located

Make sure that the resaw and trim is properly stacked into stable units

TEAMWORK is IMPORTANT!

You will work with other Chain Pullers as a team, to ensure a safe, efficient production flow.

Work as a TEAM to maneuver the extremely heavy lumber, SAFELY

Know and utilize all lock-out / tag-out procedures associated with your job duties

When time allows, carry stickers, straighten loads and band units for forklift and Cleanup as needed

Skills and Qualifications for Green Chain Puller :

Must be capable of lifting 50 lbs. continually

This is a Very physical job, body conditioning will be necessary!

Able to work in all weather conditions

Punctuality and Good Attendance is KEY

Must understand the fundamentals of sawmilling

Work to promote a supportive, teamwork environment

Must be able to work effectively with little supervision

Must be willing to fill-in on off-shift IF / WHEN required

Job Details for Green Chain Puller :

Temp-Hire

Work Schedule :

5 : 30 AM - 4 : 00 PM

Monday - Friday

Must be available to Fill-in on an Off-Shift, IF / WHEN mandated by client

5) 10's Means Automatic WEEKLY OT, Guaranteed!

Pay Rate :

24.20 per hour - To Start

Salary : $24
