Selectemp is hiring a bright and resourceful laborer with hands-on experience using hand and power tools. The ideal candidate will have an eye for detail, a positive attitude, and a commitment to quality work. Our client is a leader in electrical distribution, automation, controls, and variable frequency drive systems.

Duties and Responsibilities  for Laborer :

  • Dismantling boxes and components with basic hand tools.
  • Ensuring all screws and parts are carefully kept together to prevent loss.
  • Lifting up to 30 lbs repetitively and up to 50 lbs on occasion.

Requirements for Laborer :

  • Familiarity with hand and power tools : pliers, screw drivers, wrenches, crimps, wire cutters.
  • Ability to lift and carry weight as specified.
  • Ability to work in confined spaces
  • Ability to complete work while on ladders.
  • Strong organizational skills to keep components and hardware intact.
  • Prior experience with vehicle mechanics, mechanical assembly, and production. Welding / fabrication experience is a plus.

    • Details for Laborer :

  • Wage : $20.00
  • Schedule : Monday - Friday from 8am - 5pm with possible OT (could start as early as 7am)
  • Short term periodic travel is required (ride along in a company vehicle. No driving required)
  • Temp to hire
