Job Summary
We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Bookkeeper to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining accurate financial records, managing accounts payable and receivable, and ensuring compliance with accounting standards. This role requires proficiency in QuickBooks, MS Office, and a strong understanding of bookkeeping principles.
Duties
- Maintain and update financial records using QuickBooks
- Manage accounts payable and receivable, ensuring timely payments and collections.
- Assist in governmental accounting tasks as required.
- Serve as back up with answering phones and assisting with obtaining permits
- Collaborate with other departments to provide necessary financial information for decision-making.
Qualifications
- Proven experience as a Bookkeeper or in a similar role.
- Proficiency in QuickBooks and MS Office
- Strong understanding of payroll processes and tax regulations.
- Knowledge of governmental accounting practices is a plus.
- Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to identify discrepancies and resolve issues effectively.
