Summary :

The Senior Design Engineer will be responsible for completing professional engineering assignments for the design and development of new internal combustion engines used in our industrial market. This includes leading and participating in projects involving the design, fabrication, validation, and manufacture of complex systems or processes. Success will be measured on the ability to effectively lead and maintain tight timelines for new combustion system designs.

Essential Responsibilities :

• Performs assignments of a complex nature requiring a high degree of technical competence while planning, organizing, and conducting technical projects related to engine design and system processes.
• Conceives and plans projects to explore and resolve product or process problems, defines and selects new concepts and approaches to the design or development of new or improved products, equipment, or processes.
• Consolidates and presents results of design reviews of major projects to members of the engineering group and company leadership.
• Provide technical guidance and act as a mentor to less experienced engineers, designers, and technicians.
• Design and release engine components per specifications utilizing 3D CAD software.
• Adhere to all safety procedures including the use of personal protective equipment and navigating the plant with alert behavior.
• All other duties assigned by Management.
