SLEF CONTRACTED INSURANCE AGENT

Job Summary
As an independent insurance agent, you will be responsible for selling insurance policies to individuals and businesses while operating as a self-contracted professional. You will have the flexibility to manage your own schedule, build your client base, and partner with multiple insurance providers to offer a range of products, including life, health, auto, home, and business insurance. This role requires strong sales and customer service skills, as well as the ability to educate clients on their insurance needs.

Key Responsibilities:

• Identify and generate leads through networking, referrals, and marketing efforts.

• Consult with clients to assess their insurance needs and recommend appropriate policies.

• Present and explain policy features, benefits, and pricing to clients.

• Assist clients in completing applications and ensure compliance with underwriting requirements.

• Maintain relationships with clients, providing ongoing support and policy reviews.

• Stay up to date with industry trends, insurance regulations, and product offerings.

• Work with multiple insurance carriers to provide a variety of coverage options.

• Manage administrative tasks, including policy processing and claims assistance.

Qualifications:

• NO EXPERIENCE NEEDED

• NO FELONIES

• State insurance license (Life, Health, Property & Casualty, or as required).

• Previous sales or customer service experience (preferred but not required).

• Strong communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.

• Self-motivated with the ability to work independently.

• Basic computer proficiency for managing client records and online applications.

• Entrepreneurial mindset with a focus on business growth and client satisfaction.

Compensation:

This role is commission-based, with earnings dependent on policy sales and renewals. Some carriers may offer bonuses, incentives, or residual income opportunities.

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time, Temporary

Pay: $2,000.00 - $5,000.00 per month
