Shift: Day Shift
Expected hours: 40 per week
Responsibilities
- Process payroll for all employees accurately and on time, ensuring compliance with federal, state, and local regulations.
- Maintain employee records in the HRIS system, including new hires, terminations, and changes in employment status.
- Perform account reconciliation related to payroll transactions and resolve discrepancies as needed.
- Accurate data entry for benefits, deductions, and tax information.
- Preparing tax filings related to payroll, including quarterly and annual reports.
- Utilize payroll software such as Sage 100 to manage payroll functions efficiently.
- Support accounts payable processes by providing necessary documentation related to payroll expenses.
- Conduct audits of payroll data to ensure accuracy and compliance with company policies.
- Prepare journal entries related to accounts payable and payroll transactions.
- Provide exceptional customer service to employees regarding payroll inquiries.
Experience
- Proven experience as a Payroll Administrator or similar role is preferred.
- Strong knowledge of accounts receivable processes and account reconciliation practices.
- Familiarity with HRIS systems and payroll software (Sage 100 experience is a plus).
- Understanding of debits, credits, and basic accounting principles.
- Experience in data entry with high attention to detail and accuracy.
- Knowledge of tax regulations related to payroll processing is advantageous.
- Excellent organizational skills and ability to manage multiple tasks effectively.
- Strong communication skills to interact with employees at all levels.
