Seltser & Goldstein Public Adjusters, is seeking a motivated and detail-oriented individual to join our Finance Department.
Job Summary:
The Billing department is an integral part of the finance team and work alongside both the billing and accounting departments to provide administrative support. The position will assist the billing department with the distribution of insurance checks, generating client statements and coordinating with our clients. Accounting responsibilities include meeting and talking with clients, supporting the finance team with creating invoices and helping with monthly reports. The role will also be responsible for accounting operations, production of periodic financial reports, and maintenance of accounting records.
Qualifications / Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in business, accounting, finance, or related field.
- Proven work experience in accounting or a related field.
- Understanding of financial data analysis and reporting.
- Accounts payable, and accounts receivable functions.
- Ability to deliver quality work on tight deadlines, with strong organization and priority setting skills.
- Proven experience in financial project management.
- Advanced computer skills, specifically in Excel.
