JOB DESCRIPTION: SKILLED LABORER/ TRADESMEN

Job Summary

The Skilled Laborer/ Tradesmen performs specialized tasks using advanced skills in a specific trade or construction discipline. This role involves working under the supervision of Superintendents or Project Managers to complete specific duties such as electrical, plumbing, carpentry, masonry, welding, or other trade-specific tasks. The Skilled Laborer is expected to use a variety of tools, machinery, and materials to ensure high-quality work and efficient project completion while adhering to all safety standards.

Responsibilities

· Perform specialized tasks in accordance with their specific trade.

· Use hand tools, power tools, and machinery to complete trade-related duties.

· Being able and assisting in reading and interpretation of blueprints, plans, and drawings to ensure accurate project execution.

· Measure, cut, and install materials according to specifications.

· Prepare and organize work areas and materials.

· Collaborate with other laborers, tradespeople, and workers to ensure timely and accurate completion of tasks.

· Troubleshoot and resolve issues and obstacles.

· Follow project schedules.

· Maintain and store tools and equipment properly to ensure safe and efficient use.

· Adhere to all company policies.

· Assisting with training or supervision of General Laborers in the trade.

JOB DESCRIPTION: GENERAL LABORER

Job Summary

The General Laborer will perform a variety of basic manual tasks on job sites, including assisting Skilled Laborers/ Tradesmen and ensuring that the work environment is organized, safe, and productive. This role requires physical labor and the ability to follow directions and work effectively.

Responsibilities

· Assist with the loading, unloading, and movement of materials and equipment on site.

· Perform general site cleanup by removing debris and waste materials to maintain a safe and clean working environment.

· Set up and break down temporary structures, such as scaffolding, ladders, and safety barriers.

· Assist Skilled Laborers/ Tradesmen as needed.

· Dig trenches, mix concrete, and prepare surfaces for work.

· Operate basic hand tools and power tools under supervision.

· Follow safety procedures and always wear personal protective equipment.

· Follow instructions from supervisors or superintendents to ensure tasks are completed properly.

· Report any safety hazards or concerns to supervisors or superintendents.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $18.00 - $30.00 per hour

Expected hours: 30 – 50 per week

Schedule:

• 10 hour shift
• Day shift
• No weekends
• Overtime
