Position Overview:
We are seeking a skilled and motivated Plumbing Technician to join our growing team. As a Plumbing Technician at Premier Commercial Plumbing, you will be responsible for performing a range of plumbing tasks, from installing new systems to troubleshooting and repairing existing ones. You will work on a variety of commercial properties, ensuring that all plumbing systems comply with safety regulations and operate at peak efficiency.

Key Responsibilities:

• Install, maintain, and repair commercial plumbing systems, including pipes, fixtures, drains, and water systems.
• Diagnose and troubleshooting plumbing issues, including leaks, clogs, and pressure problems.
• Perform inspections of plumbing systems to identify potential issues and recommend necessary repairs or upgrades.
• Respond to emergency service calls in a timely and professional manner.
• Ensure all work is performed according to local plumbing codes and safety regulations.
• Collaborate with project managers and other technicians to ensure that projects are completed on time and within budget.
• Provide customers with clear communication regarding the scope of work, repair options, and estimated costs.
• Maintain accurate records of work completed, including invoices and service reports.
• Assist in the training and mentoring of apprentices and junior technicians.
• Keep tools, equipment, and company vehicles in good working order.

Qualifications:

• Proven experience as a plumbing technician, with a focus on commercial plumbing.
• Strong understanding of plumbing systems and local codes.
• Ability to work with a variety of plumbing tools and equipment.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Strong communication skills, with the ability to interact professionally with clients and team members.
• Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
• Ability to manage time effectively and handle multiple projects simultaneously.
• Willingness to work on-call or overtime as needed.

Physical Requirements:

• Ability to lift heavy objects (up to 50 lbs) and work in confined spaces.
• Ability to stand, kneel, and bend for extended periods of time.
• Ability to work in various weather conditions and environments.
