What are the responsibilities and job description for the ACCOUNTING CLERK position at SEM?
Our accounting and bookkeeping department is hiring for an entry level position. This position does not require previous experience; we will train the selected candidate. This position reports directly to the accounting dept supervisor.
Job duties include:
Accounts payable: data entry of invoices into accounting software for payment. Process payment to vendors either by check or electronic transfer.
Accounts receivable: Post customer payments from checks or electronic ACH transfers received into accounting software. Monitor and collect on past due accounts. Keep accounting manager updated on past due accounts.
Filing and file maintenance
Misc duties as assigned.
