Order Processing Specialist - Semiconductor Distribution

SemiDice is seeking a Order Processing Specialist  to join our team in Los Alamitos, Ca.

Job Summary :

Date review and data entry position for semiconductor distributor and silicon wafer processor. Prepares and reviews documentation involved in expediting product flow through the SemiDice High Reliability lab. Extreme attention to detail necessary and accurate data entry required.

Essential Job Functions :

  • Confidentiality : Maintains a high degree of confidentiality with regard to customer and company information.
  • Communication : Effective written and verbal communication with subordinates and managers.
  • Analytical : Routinely generates and assesses data and processes.
  • Organization : Maintains continuous workflow to meet daily / weekly / monthly deadlines.
  • Equipment : Uses such office equipment as computer terminals, copiers and FAX machines.
  • Computer skills : Microsoft Office products, specialized industry specific software, and Internet
  • Physical :   Sits for extended time periods.   Hearing and vision within normal ranges.
  • Customer Service : Possesses a high degree of professionalism and excellent customer service skills.

Responsibilities :

  • Print out the daily SemiDice Hi Reliability “Items to Ship” report and plan for shipment.
  • Creates travelers for customer orders, including LAT (Lot Acceptance Testing) samples, and other value-added services.
  • Creates processing travelers for all internal wafer processing orders for Hi Rel.
  • Prepares purchase orders and documentation paperwork when outside test services are required.
  • Communicates order status to salespeople, test area employees and production employees, either verbally, email or by data entries.
  • Occasionally interfaces with customers by telephone regarding technical issues.
  • Performs final review of all customer orders / contracts before submitting to Quality department for final inspection.
  • Prepares paperwork for shipping once QA has completed final inspection.
  • Writes up orders for Hi Rel lab supplies.
  • Create, Ship and Invoice Consignment orders.
  • Updates SemiDice Hi Rel daily orders and shipping status log.
  • Filling of Open, Changed and Closed SDH Orders and Contract folders.

    • Experience :

  • Three to five years of experience in the semiconductor industry, experience with bare die helpful, familiarity of microelectronics industry

    • Skills :

  • Extremely accurate data entry
  • Attention to detail critical
  • Ability to track multiple projects concurrently
  • Ability to complete routine documentation thoroughly and consistently
