Position Summary
Reporting directly to the Players Club Manager, the Player's Club Supervisor will supervise all promotions and events impacting the Unity Desk, focusing on providing the highest level of service to our Unity guests. Summary of major responsibilities include overseeing the daily operation of the Player's Club Center; interviewing, selecting and training employees; conducting performance reviews; handling employees' complaints and disciplining and/or recommending discipline and supervising work.
Responsibilities
Essential Functions:
- Ensures that all staff members successfully complete all required training and certification.
- Ensure safety and cleanliness of department at all times.
- Ensures compliance with all established departmental and companywide policies, procedures and regulatory requirements. These include, but not limited to, review of audit packages, Title 31 compliance, customer data integrity, and adherence to all gaming and compliance guidelines with any promotional activity ran at the desk.
- Supervises staff to ensure that all deadlines are met, and that both internal and external communication is timely, clearly written and correct.
- Accepts responsibility for operating department within budgetary guidelines.
- Facilitates a positive working relationship with all departments, such as Direct Marketing, Advertising, Entertainment, Food & Beverage, Hotel Front Desk, Retail, Casino Cage, and Casino Marketing.
- Reviews, tracks and maintains department expenditures and including office orders.
- Understands and communicates Service Scores to the team.
- Reviews and prepares timely evaluations of department employees.
Knowledge, Skills & Abilities
- Ability to develop positive and creative relationships with other community and business groups
- Prefer previous experience with word processing computer programs
- Self-motivated with sense of urgency to keep up with fast paced business practices
- Excellent guest service skills
- Flexibility to work a schedule including nights, weekends, and holidays
- Capable of operating in a mentally and physically stressful situations and respond to visual and aural cues
- Ability to exert force and lift and carry objects weighing up to ten pounds occasionally
- Mobility skills to maneuver to all areas of the casino and hotel
Education and Experience
- Prefer College/University Degree in Business or Related Field with previous demonstrated success in guest service, budgeting, leadership, and strong role model with excellent written and verbal communication skills and interpersonal skills
Required Certification/License
- Ability to obtain a Gaming License in the State of Nevada
