Overview
Under the direction of the Advertising Manager, this position is responsible for assisting in the planning and implementation of various marketing efforts and initiatives such as, but not limited to, planning, printing, production and distribution of advertising and promotional materials at the property and public level. The Advertising Specialist must follow brand standards and maintain communication with multiple vendors, agencies and internal departments as needed.
Responsibilities
- Responsible for all aspects of property signage : planning, development and execution / installation, as well as maintaining budgetary accountability for signage.
- Coordinates creation, delivery and distribution for all direct mail and invitations, including special event invitations, tournament invitations and invitations for similar casino sponsored events.
- Coordinates production schedule for property’s casino direct mail and email blasts.
- Works with creative agency to produce marketing and promotional materials and collateral such as, but not limited to, signage, mailers, digital screens, and email blasts.
- Assists in development and management of the media marketing run list, tracking sheets, and creative project lists.
- Assists media buying agency in the development of marketing related campaigns, including coordination of creative and trafficking of deliverables.
- Supports and serves all departments to ensure timely development and delivery of creatives for interdepartmental requests.
- Schedules, manages and publishes content while maintaining a consistent presence across all property digital channels : desktop sites, mobile sites, onsite digital LCD displays and signage.
- Responsible for creating and implementing all copy, art, lists, cost estimates, invoices and other materials through every stage of conceptualization and production.
- Proofreads and reviews written text for errors and inconsistencies prior to final approval and publication.
- Coordinates radio production, as well as implementation and execution of photo shoots for digital and printed materials.
- Coordinates out of home advertising production and installation with contracted outdoor vendors.
- Drafts press releases for media distribution alongside Public Relations agency to support monthly promotions, jackpots, and property entertainment.
- Obtains bids and initiates purchases in accordance with company policy.
- Works with Purchasing, Receiving and Warehouse on inventory and deliveries.
- Prepares purchase orders and requisitions for all goods and services purchased by the Advertising Department.
- Examines for accuracy and prepares for payment all vendor invoices received by the department.
- Maintains organization of all files and completed production jobs.
- Conducts themselves in accordance with all Gaming Commission Regulations, and Seminole Tribe of Florida / departmental policies and procedures.
- Supports Advertising Manager and other key marketing efforts and duties as assigned.

Synopsis
Assists in planning and implementation of marketing department initiatives through various forms of media. Responsible for the coordination of printing, production and distribution of advertising and promotional materials. At least three (3) years direct marketing, advertising and brand marketing experience, including implementation of digital, mobile and emerging campaigns. Must be able to continuously maneuver around the office and property, often standing for long hours. Must be able to respond to visual and aural cues. Must have the manual dexterity to operate a computer and other office equipment. Must be able to push, pull and lift 10-30 lbs and stoop, bend and reach on a limited basis.
