We are seeking a talented and motivated Pipe Layer to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring that pipes are laid and connected correctly according to drawings. This position requires a great deal of physical strength and stamina, as well as knowledge of safety protocols and the ability to work in all weather conditions.
Responsibilities:
- Lay pipe for underground water, sanitary sewer, and storm
- Measure and mark the area where the pipe will be laid
- Connect pipes to pumps, valves, and other components
- Grade and level trench bases, using machines and hand tools
- Install and repair underground sanitary and storm water sewer structures and pipe systems
Qualifications:
- 3-5 years of pipe laying experience for storm or sanitation sewers, drains, and underground water mains
- Must have and maintain a valid driver’s license
- Must be physically able to perform job tasks and heavy lifting
- Reliable transportation to and from work
