We’re looking for an Admissions Coordinator to join the team at Sena Kean Nursing and Rehab where your role will be key in creating a smooth, welcoming experience for new residents and their families.
This position is ideal for someone who has strong communication skills, attention to detail, and a heart for working with seniors and healthcare professionals alike.
What You’ll Do

Coordinate and manage the admissions process for new residents

Serve as the primary point of contact for hospitals, families, case managers, and referral sources

Conduct tours and provide facility information to prospective residents and their families

Ensure all required documentation and insurance authorizations are completed prior to admission

Collaborate with clinical and administrative teams to prepare for each new resident's arrival

Track and report admissions data and occupancy metrics

Support census development and marketing initiatives
What We’re Looking For

Prior experience in admissions, marketing, or customer service in a healthcare or long-term care setting preferred

Excellent communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills

Ability to handle sensitive information with professionalism and confidentiality

Knowledge of Medicare, Medicaid, and insurance verification is a plus

High school diploma required; Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree preferred
