What You’ll Do
- Coordinate and manage the admissions process for new residents
- Serve as the primary point of contact for hospitals, families, case managers, and referral sources
- Conduct tours and provide facility information to prospective residents and their families
- Ensure all required documentation and insurance authorizations are completed prior to admission
- Collaborate with clinical and administrative teams to prepare for each new resident's arrival
- Track and report admissions data and occupancy metrics
- Support census development and marketing initiatives
- Prior experience in admissions, marketing, or customer service in a healthcare or long-term care setting preferred
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills
- Ability to handle sensitive information with professionalism and confidentiality
- Knowledge of Medicare, Medicaid, and insurance verification is a plus
- High school diploma required; Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree preferred
