Buyer

The Buyer position plays a critical role in ensuring that SendCutSend has the necessary materials and supplies to meet customer demands and production goals. By collaborating closely with department managers, you will source and procure materials, manage supplier relationships, and optimize inventory levels. You will also look around corners to resolve any supply chain issues, identify cost-saving opportunities, and find growth and efficiency opportunities. The ideal candidate will be highly organized and process oriented, have excellent negotiation skills, and a proven ability to build and maintain positive relationships with suppliers.

What you’ll do:

• Build and maintain long-term relationships with suppliers, and serve as the primary contact for delivery status and issue resolution
• Monitor inventory levels and purchase materials to meet company needs. Ensure deliveries are accurate and report any discrepancies
• Develop and implement new processes to support business growth and lead automation initiatives across multiple locations
• Create reports and metrics to analyze costs, set actionable goals, and ensure accurate purchase orders and invoices
• Collaborate with management to ensure order accuracy and align on pricing strategies, including updates as needed
• Research and evaluate suppliers based on cost, availability, and lead times, and negotiate contracts and pricing agreements
• Assist department managers with supply orders and prepare and process purchase orders

• Strong verbal and written communication skills
• Excellent interpersonal and customer service abilities
• Minimum of 1–2 years of purchasing experience required
• Manufacturing experience is preferred but not required
• Exceptional organizational skills and attention to detail
• Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, Google Suite, or related software
