We are looking for a Front-End Clerk to provide excellent customer service by efficiently processing transactions, bagging groceries, assisting with carry-out service, and collecting carts.
Key Responsibilities:
- Greet customers and ensure a positive shopping experience
- Accurately scan and process customer purchases
- Properly bag groceries and assist customers with carry-out when needed
- Handle cash, credit, and check transactions accurately
- Collect and organize carts in a safe manner
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the front-end area
- Follow all store policies and security procedures
Qualifications:
- Strong customer service and communication skills
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. and stand for extended periods
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment with exposure to outdoor conditions
