Overview
The role of the director of operations is a flexible administrative role at Seneca Animal Hospital. The ideal candidate for this role will be personable with great communication, organization, and leadership abilities. They will handle stress well and be able to facilitate solutions to problems as they arise, helping Seneca Animal Hospital work efficiently and provide the highest standard of veterinary care. Veterinary experience, while not required, is a plus. A minimum of a bachelor's degree is required for this role. This position will report directly to the Executive Director and work closely with the entire administrative team to develop long term strategies for success.
Primary job responsibilities include but are not limited to:
- All marketing materials and budgeting
- All social media posting and management
- All software and IT maintenance/management (within reason)
- Feilding client reviews, feedback and addressing as necessary
- Reporting to the executive director and attending monthly staff meetings and quarterly doctors' meetings
- Reviewing reports on client retention and processing client reminder cards
