What are the responsibilities and job description for the Yoga Instructor position at Seneca Family of Agencies?
Overview
Seeking an experienced Yoga Instructor for adolescents in a small, specialized, short-term residential treatment center in Oxnard, CA. This unique program helps youth suffering from suicidal ideation gain coping skills for stability. We have been serving low-income youth in our community for 7 years, providing mindfulness training and intensive therapy to youth ages 12-17. Knowing that yoga is such powerful stress relief, we have integrated this into our program and had great success in providing youth this new skill. Yoga is just one of many wellness skills we impart on the youth we serve. We provide all the youth’s equipment and a large space for the class. Classes are dependent on enrollment and youth’s willingness to attend, cancellations have occurred but plenty of notice is typically provided.
