IT Administrative Assistant
Location : Onsite (Remote work not available)
Employment Type : Contract, with potential for permanent status within 6-12 months
Position Overview
We are seeking a detail-oriented and highly organized IT Administrative Assistant to join our team. This role provides comprehensive administrative support to the Information Technology (IT) department, comprising 21 employees. The ideal candidate will bring strong communication skills, a proactive mindset, and the ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently.
This position is perfect for individuals with administrative or clerical experience looking to transition into the IT field.
Key Responsibilities
- Procurement : Assist with IT procurement, including obtaining vendor quotes, drafting purchase requests, and tracking invoices.
- Service Desk Support : Monitor the IT Service Desk system, resolve or escalate customer service issues, and manage work tickets.
- Office Administration : Manage calendars, process employee performance evaluations, and support onboarding / offboarding activities.
- Team Support : Provide administrative support to the IT team.
- User Acceptance Testing (UAT) : Support user acceptance testing as needed.
