SUMMARY :
The Warehouse Associate / Driver is responsible for the timely transportation of products from various locations in the Greater Los Angeles Area to assigned destinations, with daily pickups and deliveries at contract manufacturers. This role includes overlapping truck driving duties with a primary focus on driving, as well as supporting general warehouse functions such as inventory control, receiving, and forklift operations. The ideal candidate should have a clean driving record, be available for daily driving, and have forklift experience and certification.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES :
- Perform general warehouse tasks such as receiving, inventory control, and order fulfillment.
- Assist with organizing and maintaining warehouse inventory and storage areas.
- Safely operate forklift equipment and other warehouse machinery.
- Ensure compliance with company and OSHA safety regulations.
- Maintain a clean and organized warehouse environment.
- Support efficient order picking, packing, and shipping processes.
- Assist in conducting periodic inventory counts and reconciliations.
- Collaborate with team members to fulfill customer orders accurately and efficiently.
- Occasionally provide driving support for intra-company material pick-ups and deliveries.
- Safely transport goods using company vehicles, adhering to all traffic laws and regulations.
- Complete necessary paperwork and documentation for shipments and deliveries.
- Other duties as requested by business need.
