Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and hardworking Meal delivery driver & Kitchen Helper to join our team. The ideal candidate will assist in various kitchen tasks and driving one daily route, ensuring that the kitchen operates smoothly and efficiently. This role requires a strong work ethic, attention to detail, and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment. The driver & Kitchen Helper will play a vital role in supporting the culinary team and maintaining high standards of cleanliness and safe delivery of food.
Duties
- Drive a route daily
- Assist with food preparation.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen area, including washing dishes, sweeping, mopping, taking out trash, vacuuming, pots, and pans.
- Operate kitchen equipment safely and efficiently, including ovens, mixers, and other appliances.
- Support the culinary team during meal service by ensuring that all necessary items are readily available.
- Perform heavy lifting as needed for moving supplies or equipment within the kitchen or storage areas. Loading and unloading van for daily route and unloading when returning.
- Drive vans for delivering meals as required and pickup milk.
- Provide excellent customer service when interacting with staff or guests.
Qualifications
- Previous experience in a kitchen or warehouse environment is preferred but not required.
- Ability to perform heavy lifting (up to 50 pounds).
- Strong communication skills and a customer service-oriented mindset.
- Valid driver's license with experience driving vans is preferred. Clean Driving record for the past three years.
- Willingness to learn new skills and adapt to changing tasks as needed.
- Ability to pass pre-employment and random drug screens throughout tenure.
