Caregiver Resource Manager
People Helping People has been the foundation of Senior Friendship Centers for over 50 years, and we are looking for a dynamic Caregiver Resource Manager! This position will enhance the value of our Caregiver Resource Center through innovative programs and outreach while also keeping accurate records for grants data.
The Caregiver Resource Center offers support groups and classes, reference materials, a library of vital resources, and access to local and state resources for caregivers who live with and care for someone with dementia and/or other frailties of aging.

We are looking to hire an organized and innovative thinker with excellent interpersonal and communication skills. The ability to provide compassionate guidance, accurate information, problem-solve, and meet deadlines are a must. The position will involve frequent traveling between two locations within Sarasota County.
The mission of the Senior Friendship Centers is “we build vibrant communities by advancing wellness, connection, and enrichment throughout the journey of aging.” Older adults throughout four counties in Southwest Florida rely on Senior Friendship Centers for help with nutrition, adult day services, social engagement, education, help in times of crisis, and so much more.

Essential Functions:
Operational
- Oversees grant funded activities including development of new initiatives, resource streams, effective monitoring, and delivery of caregiving services.
- Oversees and manages the department’s grants data, ensuring accurate entry and reporting.
- Develops and implements Caregiver Resource Center programs.
- Directs policies and procedures to attain program objectives and goals.
- Participates in targeted outreach activities and community events to support the ADS and CRC programs and the organization’s mission.
- Responsible for coordinating and outsourcing contracted Support Group Therapists.
- Responds to inquiries made to CRC. Provides caregivers with assistance and information regarding CRC activities, supporting organizations, and other community resources.
- Oversees quality assurance in the program’s service delivery including clinical care and documentation as required to meet standards and licensing requirements.
- Maintains documentation and data entry according to program guidelines.
- Assists with program sustainability through budget preparation and monitoring, the development of new programs, and grant management.
- Develops and contributes to the CRC Newsletter.
Organizational:
- Attend staff meetings, training, and seminars as required.
- Report any incident of abuse or neglect as mandated by state guidelines.
- Must comply with HIPAA regulations and OSHA laws and safety guidelines.
- Must comply with all Senior Friendship Centers personnel policies.
- Must protect the safety and health of staff, volunteers, participants, and others by observing and following the organization’s safety and incident policies.

Education, Experience, Licenses, and Certifications:
- A Bachelor's Degree in Health Care Services, Social Services, or a related field preferred, or at least 4 years’ of professional experience in a related field.
- Development and management of Grant Programs experience preferred.
- Minimum of one year of supervisory capacity experience in a social service or health care service setting preferred but not required.
- Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook, and PowerPoint). Must have experience using computer software applications for record management and the ability to quickly learn the organization’s systems.
Physical Demands:
- Prolonged periods sitting, standing, and walking.
- Must be able to lift 20 pounds.
- Must be able to independently access various departments of a given location.
Travel:
- Travel to both Sarasota and Venice locations will be required.
- Travel to various locations for outreach will be required.
- Must have reliable transportation.
- A valid driver’s license and proof of insurance are required for all work related travel.
Additional eligibility requirements:
- Satisfactory clearance of a fingerprint based, level II background screening, tuberculous test, and pre employment substance abuse testing is required.
- Must be authorized to work in the United States.
