Examples of Job Duties:
- Assist clients with activities of daily living such as bathing, grooming, dressing, and toileting
- Provide medication reminders and assist with medication management
- Maintain a safe and clean environment for clients by performing light housekeeping tasks
- Help with meal preparation and feeding
- Accompany clients to appointments and on outings
- Monitor and report any changes in client's health or behavior
- Comply with all health and safety regulations and company policies
- Communicate effectively with clients, their families, and other healthcare professionals
Qualifications:
- Active CNA certification in the state of South Carolina - preferred but not required
- Prior experience working with seniors or individuals with disabilities preferred
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills
- Ability to work independently and follow care plans
- Basic knowledge of medical terminology and understand the importance of client confidentiality
- Must be able to pass criminal background check and drug screening
- Must have reliable transportation
