Description of the role:
We are looking for an awesome Client Service Coordinator at Senior Helpers - Cameron Park! The primary responsibilities of the Client Service Coordinator include supporting a team of caregivers, developing care plans, and ensuring the highest level of quality care for our clients.
Responsibilities:
- Support and train a team of caregivers, providing support, guidance, and training as needed
- Assist in helping develop personalized care plans for each client based on their specific needs and preferences to reduce the risk of adverse events and hospitalizations.
- Coordinate and schedule caregiver shifts to ensure adequate coverage for clients, including back-filling shifts to ensure clients have the care they need and covering shifts for call outs and vacations of caregivers
- Conduct regular check-ins with clients and caregivers to ensure quality care and address any concerns
- Assist with personal care tasks such as bathing, grooming, and medication management
- Provide companionship and emotional support to clients
- Perform light housekeeping duties and meal preparation as needed
- Communicate with clients' families and medical professionals as necessary
Requirements:
- High School Diploma or equivalent required; some college coursework in healthcare or related field preferred
- Demonstrated leadership skills and ability to effectively manage a team
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Compassionate and patient attitude towards seniors and their care needs
- Fluent in English, both written and verbal
- Must pass a background check and drug screen
- Valid Drivers license, Insurance, and a car are a must for this role.
Benefits:
The Client Service Coordinator position offers a competitive salary range of $20.00- $21.00 per hour, dependent on experience and qualifications. In addition, Senior Helpers - Cameron Park offers benefits such as medical, dental, and vision insurance, paid time off, and opportunities for professional development and advancement within the company. This is a full-time position with a schedule of 40-45 hours/week. Available Schedules: Thursday - Monday or Wednesday - Sunday. Shift times would vary on business need; 7am-4pm or 10am-7pm typically with flexibility to be available for occasional overnights or evening shifts. Weekends are required for this role.
