Senior Helpers, a trusted and fast growing non-medical home care provider, is seeking a Scheduling Coordinator.  We are looking for an upbeat, positive, self-motivated individual who enjoys working with people. This position will manage the schedule of employees who go into the home to assist seniors.  You will have a direct hand in cultivating the relationship our company has with its caregivers, clients, as well as the relationship the caregiver and client have together. Although we are a non-medical agency, candidates with experience in the medical industry, particularly in geriatrics, are preferred.  

Additional Necessary Qualifications

  • Must have exceptional organization skills, attention to detail, and ability to prioritize in a changing and very fast-paced environment
  • Must have excellent phone skills and follow-up skills
  • Proactive problem prevention and issue resolution leadership ability
  • Must have excellent critical thinking ability
  • Two to three years work experience in the medical or geriatrics industry is strongly preferred
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, Internet, and Outlook required
  • Ability to learn other software programs quickly
  • Strong verbal communication skills, especially using the telephone
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Effective time management skills
  • Unquestionable integrity and discretion
  • Flexibility to work evenings and weekends, as required

 

Your primary responsibilities would include, but are not limited to:

  • Oversee and take ownership of all company scheduling
  • Become familiar with daily documentation logs and time sheets weekly
  • Update company database with constantly-changing information
