Senior Helpers, a trusted and fast growing non-medical home care provider, is seeking a Scheduling Coordinator. We are looking for an upbeat, positive, self-motivated individual who enjoys working with people. This position will manage the schedule of employees who go into the home to assist seniors. You will have a direct hand in cultivating the relationship our company has with its caregivers, clients, as well as the relationship the caregiver and client have together. Although we are a non-medical agency, candidates with experience in the medical industry, particularly in geriatrics, are preferred.
Additional Necessary Qualifications
- Must have exceptional organization skills, attention to detail, and ability to prioritize in a changing and very fast-paced environment
- Must have excellent phone skills and follow-up skills
- Proactive problem prevention and issue resolution leadership ability
- Must have excellent critical thinking ability
- Two to three years work experience in the medical or geriatrics industry is strongly preferred
- Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, Internet, and Outlook required
- Ability to learn other software programs quickly
- Strong verbal communication skills, especially using the telephone
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Effective time management skills
- Unquestionable integrity and discretion
- Flexibility to work evenings and weekends, as required
Your primary responsibilities would include, but are not limited to:
- Oversee and take ownership of all company scheduling
- Become familiar with daily documentation logs and time sheets weekly
- Update company database with constantly-changing information
