Join our team as an Area Lead and play a crucial role in ensuring quality home care services. This leadership role involves supervising caregivers, conducting home visits, maintaining documentation, and ensuring compliance with company policies.
Key Responsibilities:
Home Visits & Care Oversight
Conduct home visits with staff and clients, reviewing care plans.
Monitor caregiver performance, attire, and home conditions.
Ensure all assigned tasks are completed and documented.
Address client concerns and update care plans as needed.
Documentation & Compliance
Record all visit details in WellSky and tag caregivers under the client profile.
Ensure caregivers document all tasks and sign off at the end of shifts.
Verify clock-ins and clock-outs via the WellSky app or telephone.
Caregiver Management & Training
Ensure caregivers adhere to shift schedules—no late arrivals or early departures.
Oversee caregivers’ proper use of PPE (gloves, masks, etc.).
Conduct Meet & Greets for new caregivers, ensuring they are comfortable with care plans and WellSky documentation.
Scheduling & Open Shift Coverage
Work Tuesday to Saturday (40 hours/week) with Sunday & Monday off.
Prioritize home visits but adjust when shift coverage is required.
Ensure a smooth transition for new clients by working the first shift and documenting routines.
Communication & Reporting
Answer calls during office hours (8 AM – 4:45 PM, Tue-Sat) unless at a visit or shift.
Submit end-of-the-day reports of completed tasks and maintain an updated Outlook calendar and Google Docs.
Attend weekly 1:1 meetings with the director and bi-weekly team meetings.
Requirements:
Solid experience as a caregiver or in a similar role (home care, healthcare, or related field).
Strong leadership, organizational, and training skills.
Excellent documentation and communication abilities.
Ability to work full-time, Tuesday to Saturday.
Pay Range: $16.00 - $20.00 per hour (based on experience)
This role is office-based (no remote work).
