Job Description:
As a Companion Caregiver, you will play a vital role in improving the daily lives of our clients by offering companionship, emotional support, and assistance with daily activities. You will foster meaningful relationships, engage in stimulating conversations, and ensure the overall well-being of our clients. This position is perfect for someone who is empathetic, patient, and passionate about making a difference.

Responsibilities:

• Provide companionship and engage clients in conversations and activities to promote mental and emotional well-being.
• Assist with light housekeeping, meal preparation, and grocery shopping as needed.
• Accompany clients to appointments, social events, and recreational activities.
• Monitor clients' safety and provide assistance with mobility when necessary.
• Offer emotional support and encouragement to clients, helping them maintain a positive outlook.
• Report any changes in the client's condition to the care coordinator.

Requirements:

• Must be at least 18 years old.
• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• 1 year of caregiving experience or related healthcare experience preferred.
• Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.
• Successful completion of background checks and drug screenings.
• Physical capability to lift up to 50 pounds and perform various physical tasks.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a compassionate and positive attitude.
• Ability to work independently and adhere to care plans.
