Care Team Supervisor and Scheduling Coordinator

Senior Helpers of the Villages is seeking a qualified Care Team Supervisor and Scheduling Coordinator for an immediate start in our Private Duty Home Care office in Leesburg, Florida. This full-time position is dedicated to recruiting, on boarding, scheduling, and managing qualified caregivers to ensure quality in-home care delivery for agency clients. Senior Helpers is a family-owned agency and offers a fun and friendly work environment.
Primary Responsibilities
Recruit, select, and onboard qualified caregivers to the agency in order to ensure staff availability for client needs.
Effectively select and assign care staff to client schedules to best align with caregiver objectives, availability and skills, as well as client needs.
Gather feedback from care team members, clients and client family members to ensure consistent, quality client care.
Each day, ensure all client schedules are fully staffed and accurate in agency system of record. Make any necessary adjustments to accommodate scheduling conflicts, emergencies and /or staff “call outs”.
Supervise all assigned care team members. Gather care team HR documents, licensing credentials, and training certificates, ensuring all remain valid and unexpired. Track care team call outs, late arrivals and refusals. Prepare and deliver care team performance assessments and evaluations. Determine and deliver staff recognition and discipline, as appropriate.
Accept on-call after-hours duty, as needed.
Standard office hours are Monday through Friday 9 am to 5 pm
Desired qualifications
Minimum of one-year staffing in a home care setting
Minimum of one-year professional experience in customer service
Positive outlook and team player, with excellent written and verbal communication skills
Have excellent problem-solving and time management abilities
Must be able to multitask and work independently
Must be able to pass a level 2 background screening and a drug test
