As a Personal Care Aide, you will be responsible for:
- Providing personal care and assistance with daily activities like bathing, dressing, and grooming.
- Assisting with mobility and transferring clients as needed.
- Offering companionship and socialization to enhance the client’s well-being.
- Light housekeeping and meal preparation to ensure a clean, comfortable environment.
- Offering medication reminders and supporting medication management (as permitted by state regulations).
- Maintaining communication with clients, families, and the Senior Helpers team to ensure top-notch care.
- Documenting client status and services in our electronic system.
- At least 18 years old.
- High School Diploma or equivalent.
- Prior experience in healthcare or caregiving is preferred.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to pass a background check and drug screening.
- Valid driver’s license, reliable transportation, and proof of car insurance.
- Ability to lift and maneuver up to 25 pounds.
