The Scheduler is responsible for preparing the daily and master schedule for the nursing department. This role involves tracking absenteeism/tardiness and providing reports to the Executive Director. The Scheduler will also inform the Executive Director and Human Resources of vacancies, transfers, and other staffing changes, as well as meet with new hires to review staffing guidelines.
Requirements
Prior experience in staffing or scheduling, particularly in a long-term care environment, is highly preferred. Our ideal candidate will possess excellent communication and organizational skills, with the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced setting.
