Key Responsibilities:
- Plan production capacity resources to meet customer requirements using blueprints, sketches, operations sheets, and verbal instructions.
- Communicate effectively with Production, team members, and support personnel as needed.
- Maintain accuracy of operations sheets and part flow to next operation or department.
- Ensure personnel wear personal protective equipment and follow safety rules; investigate accidents as required.
- Support continuous improvement, facilitate team meetings, and troubleshoot problems.
- Develop and implement solutions to increase productivity while ensuring customer satisfaction.
- Participate in departmental budget development and monitoring; assist with audits.
- Train and develop team members; evaluate performance and recommend personnel actions.
- Conduct performance appraisal meetings and recommend wage adjustments; participate in employee selection and termination processes.
