We are seeking an experienced Machinist II 3rd Shift to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for developing programs for computer-based numerically-controlled equipment, performing complex set-ups, and operating a variety of CNC or hybrid machine shop equipment to extremely close tolerances and maintain critical finishes.

Education and Qualifications
The ideal candidate will have a high school diploma or equivalent, completed apprenticeship or technical degree, and at least 3-5 years of experience in a similar role. Basic computer knowledge to perform labor transactions, and other required functions is also essential.

About the Role

- Achieve and maintain appropriate Operator Authorization(s) as required.
- Set up fixture components for jobs that require CNC machining and manual machines.
- Work to machine dimensions and maintain close tolerances and correlated dimensions with a high demand for squareness, concentricity, finish, and parallelism.
- Set and load all tools in conjunction with set-up instructions to complete assigned jobs.
- Work from basic blueprints, material requests, methods sheets, or other written work instructions.
- Use a variety of precision measuring instruments, inspect in-process or finished parts and feature characteristics as well as manufacturing methods to blueprint specifications.
- Train other Machinists as needed on job-related assignments.
- Receive material requests daily and provide material cut to required lengths. Maintain accurate records of all material supplied.
