Responsibilities:
- Provide exceptional care to our residents, promoting their physical, emotional, and social well-being.
- Work collaboratively with the care team to develop and implement personalized care plans that meet the unique needs of each resident.
- Administer medications as prescribed by resident physicians, while prioritizing resident safety and comfort.
- Monitor residents for signs of medication interactions, adverse drug reactions, and medication side effects, reporting any concerns to the Director of Wellness.
Requirements:
- Must satisfy all state health, licensure/certification, and background requirements. Education/Experience: Must have a high school diploma or equivalent plus completion of any additional education required by the state of practice (such as Medical Assistant or Certified Nursing Assistant). Requires knowledge of safe medication practices, with a medication error rate of 2% or below. Must recognize complications, adverse reactions or side effects of medications and obtain input from the nurse as needed to ensure optimum health and safety of the resident. Certificates and Licenses: Must complete CPR and First Aid certifications if not current, plus any additional licensing requirements in state(s) of practice.
