We are a local family owned Yakima insurance agency with clients in multiple states. In a world of non-stop Medicare TV ads, endless mailers, and many confusing options for seniors, we pride ourselves on being local and available. Our mission is to assist seniors with Medicare and retirement planning.
Are you passionate about helping, educating and working with seniors? We are looking for highly motivated and self-driven individuals to join our team. This position is for a Full-Time Receptionist / Scheduler / Administration Position at our
Yakima Senior Solutions Group office. You will serve our clients via phone, email and face to face interactions.

Responsibilities:
In this position you will: cultivate, maintain and build relationships with Senior Solutions Group customers, and the community we serve through telephone, email and face-to-face interactions with clients. Attention to detail is a must. Our business is always evolving and growing. Flexibility will be a must. If a good fit for all, this position has the potential for advancement to becoming a licensed insurance agent, after obtaining state license. (Courses and tests paid for by the company).
Specifically:
*Set appointments for staff. *Always do what is best for our clients.
*Answer phones and direct calls to agents. *Greet walk-ins.
*Handle the fast paced work of yearly Fall Annual Enrollment Period. *Dress appropriately for an office setting.
*Help clients applying for drug plans in the fall.
*Assist with additional office duties; greeting clients, mailers, client events, and workshop prep, birthday calls, whatever is asked from Office Mgr.
Benefits / Information:
- This is a full-time salaried position. Jan. through Sept.: M -Th.= 36 hrs. Oct. through Dec. M - F =Approx. 50 hrs. weekly (Please discuss handbook/Schedule with Employer, there are long days during the fall season.)
- Pay to be determined.
- No compete clause must be signed upon hire.
- Benefits: $250/mo towards health care added as wage. 401k after 1 year.
10 Paid sick days a year, 10 days Vacation days a year. In addition, will receive a paid week off after Christmas, but will need to work one day from home. See Manual for specific holidays off and more specific information.
