ELDERLY CAREGIVER ***MUST BE 50 OR OLDER

Job Summary
We are seeking compassionate and dedicated Caregivers to provide essential support and assistance to individuals with developmental disabilities and other care needs. As a Caregiver, you will play a vital role in enhancing the quality of life for our clients by offering personalized care in various settings, including group homes and community environments. Your responsibilities will include assisting with daily living activities, ensuring safety, and fostering a supportive atmosphere.

Responsibilities

• Provide personal care assistance, including bathing, grooming, dressing, and toileting.
• Support clients with mobility and physical activities as needed.
• Assist with meal preparation and ensure proper nutrition.
• Engage clients in social activities to promote mental well-being.
• Maintain a clean and safe living environment for clients.
• Participate in ongoing training and development to enhance caregiving skills.

Qualifications

• Familiarity with memory care practices and understanding of dementia-related challenges is a plus.
• Strong interpersonal skills to build rapport with clients and their families.
• Compassionate nature with a genuine desire to help others achieve their best quality of life.
• Must be able to pass background checks as required by state regulations.

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: $14.50 - $15.00 per hour

• Morning shift
• Weekends as needed

• Caregiving: 1 year (Required)

Ability to Commute:

• Advance, NC 27006 (Required)

Ability to Relocate:

• Advance, NC 27006: Relocate before starting work (Required)
