Overview
The Elder Care Assistant plays a vital role in providing compassionate support and assistance to seniors and individuals with disabilities. This position requires a dedicated individual who is committed to enhancing the quality of life for those in their care. The Elder Care Assistant will work closely with clients to ensure their daily needs are met, promoting independence and dignity.

Duties

• Provide patient care and support to seniors, ensuring their comfort and safety.
• Assist clients with daily living activities, including bathing, dressing, grooming, and meal preparation.
• Implement care plans tailored to individual client needs, ensuring adherence to prescribed routines..
• Engage clients in social activities and provide companionship to enhance their emotional well-being..
• Maintain a clean and safe environment for clients, adhering to hygiene standards.

Requirements

• Previous experience in patient care or senior care is preferred.
• Strong communication skills and the ability to build rapport with clients.
• Physical capability to assist with heavy lifting and mobility support.
• Familiarity with creating and following care plans is beneficial.
• A compassionate demeanor and a commitment to providing high-quality care.
• Must be able to work flexible hours.

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: $14.50 - $15.00 per hour
