In Home Caregiver

Seniors Helping Seniors® is dedicated to matching active seniors (50 YEARS OLD & OLDER TO WORK ) with those in need of assistance to help them live independently. We are currently seeking compassionate individuals to join our team as In-Home Non-Medical Senior Caregivers.

In this mutually rewarding role, you will:

· Build a meaningful relationship with senior clients, their family members, and fellow co-workers.

· Provide personalized in-home support and companionship to seniors that might include personal care, assistance with daily activities, light housekeeping, meal preparation, shopping/errands, and transportation.

To qualify for this position:

• MUST BE A SENIOR 50 YEARS OR OLDER
• High school diploma, preferred;
• Successful completion of a home health aide program from an approved provider.
• Compliance with state registry requirements
• Minimum one (1) year of documented experience required;
• Must consent to and pass a criminal background check;
• Have a baseline and annual TB test on record with Seniors Helping Seniors;
• Have a Free from Communicable Disease form on record with Seniors Helping Seniors;
• Self-directing with the ability to work with little direct supervision;
• Demonstrate effective oral and written communication skills;
• Ability to express spoken and/or written ideas in English;
• Works as a team member.
