HR/Recruiting Duties:
- Recruitment and Staffing:
- Manage job postings on various job boards and social media platforms.
- Screen resumes and conduct initial phone interviews.
- Schedule and coordinate in-person interviews with hiring managers.
- Assist in creating job descriptions and updating them as necessary.
- Maintain and update the applicant tracking system.
- Onboarding:
- Prepare and distribute new hire paperwork.
- Participate in orientation sessions for new employees.
- Ensure all new hire documentation is complete and filed appropriately.
- Employee Relations:
- Assist with employee inquiries regarding HR policies, procedures, and benefits.
- Support the implementation of employee recognition programs.
- Coordinate training sessions and track employee training progress.
- Compliance:
- Ensure all HR activities are compliant with federal, state, and local regulations.
- Maintain confidentiality of all employee records and sensitive information.
- Assist in the development and updating of HR policies and procedures.
- Administrative Support:
- Maintain and update employee files and HR databases.
- Prepare HR-related reports as needed.
- Support HR projects and initiatives.
Qualifications:
· Minimum of 1 year experience in talent acquisition and recruiting (preferred).
· Have a basic understanding of HR practices, labor laws, and employee relations.
· Have a High School Diploma or equivalent.
· Be able to communicate in a friendly, professional, and respectful manner.
· Ability to manage employee relationships and conduct effective interviews.
· Be compassionate, reliable, supportive, and flexible.
· Have integrity and a positive attitude.
