Looking for caregivers 40 years old and over!
Seniors Helping Seniors® in-home care services of Pee Dee (SHS Pee Dee) brightens the lives of seniors who can benefit from a helping hand and a friendly smile. Our caregivers, who are seniors themselves, make life a little easier by providing compassionate care in the comfort our care receiver’s home.
Qualifications:
- Enjoy working with our senior population
- Be a caring, empathetic, compassionate and reliable individual
- Understand the importance of our services to our seniors
- Have positive attitude and be dedicated to our SHS mission
- Ability to follow detailed instructions to execute our care plan
- Maturity to deal effectively with the demands of the job
- Maintain the highest standards of customer service and professionalism set by SHS
- Be proactive to find other ways to help our seniors once all tasks have been completed
Companionship and Homemaker Duties may include:
- Provide Companionship
- Assist with Light Housekeeping such as laundry, vacuuming, washing dishes, etc.
- Shopping and Errands
- Meal Preparation
- Medication Reminders
- Overnight Supervision
- Incidental Transportation to doctor’s appointments, family or their favorite restaurant
Personal Care Duties may include:
- Assist with Dressing
- Assist with Feeding
- Assist with Showering / Bathing
- Mobility Assistance
- Assist with Toileting / Incontinence
- Memory Care
