Safety Coordinator
We are searching for an experienced Safety Coordinator at our Redmond, OR facility.
Primary Duties and Responsibilities:
The ideal candidate will have professional Safety experience in a manufacturing environment. Professional certification is ideal. The ideal candidate will also have experience with OSHA regulations as it relates to manufacturing and strong project management, and process planning.
This position will be responsible for all Safety Programs and conduct safety training for all personnel.
This candidate will lead a team of Safety Champions in the plant with executing all of their assigned Safety Champion tasks.
Education:
Bachelor’s degree in Safety, Business, Manufacturing or other related field preferred but not required.
Job Knowledge/Skills Required:
Three (3) to five (5) years’ experience in a manufacturing environment.
Safety certifications are strongly preferred.
Experience interpreting OSHA regulations and ensuring compliance is required.
Minimum of Three (3) years’ experience in safety. Five (5) or more years preferred.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills, group presentation skills, computer proficiency (including Excel and Word).
Must have excellent problem-solving skills.
Excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to implement win-win solutions,
Excellent statistical and mathematical skills
