Primary Duties and Responsibilities :
Responsible to support the manufacturing teams through the creations of accurate and timely routings, drawings and assembly instructions, assisting with the purchase and maintenance of machines and equipment, and leading projects as necessary. Improve the business by contributing, supporting, and implementing ideas to enhance processes and practices for the manufacturing value stream. Lead by example to create a positive culture by ensuring a safe work environment and respecting other people at all times.Support production team members in the continual improvement of production processesSupport production in the development of processes that are repeatable and safeSupport engineering and R & D on implementing new designs and updated designs into productionOversee and participate in a maintenance system that ensures strong uptime of machinery and equipmentAssist in training systems and methodologyEnsure the completion of manufacturing routings in a timely and accurate mannerResponsiveness to production team members when issues ariseSupport production in ensuring that standards are being adhered to and that parts are of high quality are being produced according to specificationsOversee internal and external quality certifications (ISO, training certifications, etc.)Assist production in building quality into the processesAssist in responding to and eliminating warranty and quality issues that ariseRequired Qualifications :Manufacturing Engineering experience and educationAbility to teach othersProcess thinkerMastery of 5S, waste elimination, and other lean principlesAbility to use and create 2D and 3D drawings on both CAD and SolidWorksAbility to use ERP systemProblem solving : root cause analysis and corrective actionSalary, Non-Exempt
