Overview
We are searching for an experienced Shipping Clerk at our Tampa, FL facility.
Responsibilities
- Receipt, inspection and accountability of incoming materials and the shipment ofitems from production in accordance with customer requirements.
- Process and create BOL’s. Run reports at end of ship to close out.
- Work closely with production and logistics to ensure product meets shippingdeadline.
- Forklift operation to load/unload trucks and transport supplies to storage area.
- Identify products needed labeling and ensure proper procedures are followed forlabeling of product.
- Pack a variety of moderate to heavy parts into boxes, crates or other containers asneeded.
- Locking up Plant and property at end of ship.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Familiarity with Windows OS and Microsoft Office
- Proficient phone skills
- Ability to be resourceful and proactive when dealing with freight carriers and co-workers
- Be able to work in a fast-paced environment
- Ability to multi-task while maintaining attention to detail and accuracy
