What are the responsibilities and job description for the Frame & Door Fitter/Welder position at senneca?
- Perform ordinary and repetitive hand welding operations.
- All MIG welding.
- Care required in clamping parts in relative position to avoid distortion.
- Operate welding equipment; regulate current and voltage or gas and feed rate for proper fusion of metals.
- Heavy lifting may be required.
- Must be able to plan and layout welding sequence, referring to drawings, blueprints or specifications.
- May layout and mark weld points on parts or assemblies using tape measure, square, scribe or templates.
