POSITION SUMMARY : As a Lawn Care Technician you won't be tied to a desk, you'll be out and about - mobile and independent. You will take the lead in providing routine service to residential and commercial clients, on route-based assignments, ensuring timely and safe arrival at each location. You'll become an expert in applying our company products to improve the health of our client's lawns. Our Techs serve as problem solvers for clients by utilizing our in-depth training program to decide on the most efficient and best overall solution for each client's unique needs. Lawn Technicians are trained to identify and alert clients of additional service offerings that provide value to the client, helping with sales to current clients, and expanding our services to new clients.

RESPONSIBILITIES :
- Working individually or with a crew to provide lawn care and pest services to all properties on assigned route
- Using hand and powered equipment, apply fertilizer, insecticides, fungicides, and herbicides for pest and weed control in lawn and ornamentals
- Unload and load equipment at each property, remove loose trash and debris from landscape area prior to servicing area
- Comply with all state and federal regulations, and company policies, procedures, and guidelines including local ordinances
- Keep scheduled appointments with customers, as applicable
- Interact and ask questions of clients if they are present when the job is completed, to determine any client concerns and discuss existing conditions
- Suggest additional services to existing and prospective clients
- Perform thorough inspection and evaluation of client properties
- Properly identify insects, weeds, and fungus conditions, as well as pest harborage areas and conducive conditions, and prescribe corrective measures.
